My Bio
I am a history/literature fan who enjoys nothing more than reading a good novel whilst chilling with my dogs. Movies have always been a true love of mine, so I have combined all my faves here.
I reside in Georgia and am in my first year at the University of Georgia. I used to still slave away at schoolwork, only now it really matters. I am a History major with a possible English minor, and I hope to go to grad school in museum or costume studies. I am a primarily a beater on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team at UGA, and I am a member of the Medieval & Renaissance Society. When at home, I live with two Dobermans and a Dachshund, along with family of a more humanoid nature. I love comments and feedback.

My Favorites:
Book: Vanity Fair (W.M. Thackeray); though it just barely edges out many, many others!
Movie: My Top 10 is on the right, but there are many more that are deserving of the list.
TV Shows: Cake Boss, Samantha Brown travel shows, JEOPARDY!, Cash Cab, and Masterpiece Classic
Author: Jane Austen
Store: Barnes & Noble
Destination: New York City; Olympic Peninsula/Seattle; and London, if I ever get there…
Food: Pizza (esp. Papa John’s)
Candy: dark chocolate (the darker the better)
Music: classical, movie scores, and alternative

By the way, I am also a major Twilight Addict. I sometimes throw in some Twilight news and references around here—it just comes standard.
The way I see it, great literature is health food, the stuff we need to actually survive; but Twilight is the stuff that allows us to truly live—the chocolate of the lit world (or heroin, if you’re a true “Twihard”). Don’t expect a literary masterpiece, but do expect to never look at a thunderstorm the same way again

This is an amazing blog! Your mom forwarded it to me – very impressive. The depth….
Congrats on the UGA Honors matriculation, and I hope we will see you in Athens a lot in the fall. With Chad and Chris still there (Chad for only one more semester, Chris for two years), I hope you’ll run into them from time to time also. You can find us all at the Sigma Chi house before most football games – stop by sometime and bring your mom and dad!
Thanks, Mr. Jim! I am super excited about UGA
I just went up there today and had a blast with my dad!
